Demolition, Temporary Works

Berkley Demolition Ltd was awarded the contract to undertake the soft strip, temporary works, design and installation followed by the demolition of 6 Upper Brook Street.

The project was challenging in the fact that both party walls were in a bad state of repair and had to be carefully dismantled and rebuilt as the demolition and temporary works proceeded, without causing any delays to the program.

During the demolition no major disruption was caused to the neighbouring properties, which included the American Embassy across the road, this was due to the demolition techniques we employed.

All waste was separated into varying waste streams prior to being removed from site, to help achieve a 95% recycling rate.
